The Company

Since 2006 DrehmomentService Dr. Peschel is an internationally established calibration laboratory, currently based in Peine, Germany and is accredited according to DIN EN ISO 17025. We calibrate conforming to standards in an air-conditioned measuring room on various calibration units with nationally traceable references.

Our calibration laboratory has successfully established itself since the first DKD-accreditation in November 2006; a second one followed 2018, by the German accreditation body (formerly DKD), DAKKS.

Today we have approximately 400 companies and facilities from 5 continents in our customer base. As a result of that we have achieved an annual increase of calibration services sales.

As a result of our expanding business, we are able to continually increase the number employees and trainees. Higher volume in customer orders and with that an increase in administrative needs, we invest in modern and effective database solutions. Well organized internal administrative processes help us keep focus on our calibration work. As our customers you will profit from this inner workflow, since we can keep the focus our calibration work.

Thanks to the technical affinity and high qualifications of our team as well as the excellent collaboration with our customers, we managed to overcome many hurdles over the years. We are proud to say that we have (in contrast to the torque technology manufacturers own calibration laboratories) manufactured nearly all globally relevant products, adaptations, and amplifier integrations.

Even with lack of provision of adjustment instructions from some manufacturers, we were able to process largely all requests and orders of our customers successfully and independently.

The latest milestone of our company was in 2018. The relocation from our old location in Wendeburg into a bigger building in Peine, was our consequent solution, to the increase in calibration orders as well as the expansion of the personal and technological basis of the laboratory.

At the same time we changed from being a registered merchant to a GmbH Co. KG and received a new accreditation with the DAkkS. The senior employees took over management. At the age of 76 our founder Dr. Peschel transferred largely all responsibility into the hands of the new laboratory manager Dennis Howorek and all administrative matters into the hands of Mandy Kühne.

In 2020 we established a trainee post for physics laboratory assistants, which we offer in cooperation with state institutions – a novelty we are also proud of.
